             Follow Filters

Unlike Motion Filters, Follow Filters are not pre-determined motion effects.
Instead, they’re more like semi-automatic shortcuts that you can use to
affect one layer’s motion based on what another layer is doing. With
Follow Filters, you can make multiple images and captions follow each
other around a slide, without having to set up multiple complex motion
effects. Follow Filters are especially useful when you want text and
images move together, and when using (and moving) masks or adjustment
layers along with specific layers within a slide

             To Apply a Follow Filter
                1. First, you’ll need at least two objects in your slide, this can be two
images, two captions, one of each, etc. For now, let’s use 2 image
                    layers.

                2. Next, you’ll need to apply some kind of motion. Select layer 1,
under the Layer Settings tab, in Layer Setup, set the zoom to 45%
and the Position to -35 x 0. Under the Effects tab, make layer 1
pan across the screen from left to right by clicking on Keyframe 2
and setting the Pan to 35 x 0.

                3. Now click the Filters tab above the preview. As Layer 1 has the
motion effect, in the layers list, select Layer 2.

                4. In the Follow Filters pane, choose the Target. The Target will be
the object you want your selected layer to follow. In this case,
                    layer 1.
