Motion Filter Options
Once you’ve selected your effects, you also have a handful of options that
you can use to customize how your filters behave.
Combine -Use Normal during Fly-in and Fly-Out. When enabled, all three
stages will playback in a more fluid and continuous movement. When
turned off, each filter plays one at a time, briefly pausing in between each
stage. Depending on your selected effects and settings, the differences
may be subtle or quite dramatic.
Here’s an example of a dramatic difference:
1. With a layer selected, in the Motion Filters pane, set the Fly In
Filter to Blur In, set the Normal Filter to Full Pan Down and set
the Fly Out Filter to Blur Out
2. Make sure the Combine option is turned on.
3. Press the Play button at the bottom of the Slide Options window
to see the effect.
In the preview, you’ll notice that your image will fade in and out while it also
pans from the top of the screen through the bottom.
4. Now, uncheck the Combine option and press play again.
This time, the image will fade in, right in the middle of the slide. Next it will
jump to the top of the screen and pan down, followed by jumping back to
the middle of the screen and fading out.
