Volume Leveling
Another option for balancing the audio in your shows is Volume Leveling.
This is a pre-processing tool that works independently from your Master
Volume or Track Volume settings.

Normalize & Compress
When enabled, Volume Leveling analyzes your audio tracks, and works to
find the right balance of volume between tracks automatically.
There are three settings for Volume Leveling that can be set for individual
tracks, as well as the master volume:
• Normalize is the default, and recommended setting for the
Master Volume. This does a good job of adjusting volume levels
throughout a track, without compromising the original dynamics
of the music. In many cases, you can just leave this setting on.
• Normalize & Compress is generally only recommended for the
Master Volume when all of your music is from a similar genre,
album or time period.
This option is better utilized with individual Track Volumes.
Tracks that will benefit the most will be older, lower fidelity audio
tracks. For example: applying this setting to an R&B song from
the 60s can help it sound much more balanced when paired with
a modern Pop song in the same show.
